§ 32-7-503. ENFORCEMENT.
(a)
Injunction. Upon application of the Commission and in accordance with the Charter, the circuit court for the county may:
(1)
Restrain or enjoin the excavation, construction or erection, reconstruction, alteration, removal of any exterior feature, moving, or demolition of any building or structure in a county historic district or on the preliminary county landmarks list or the final county landmarks list, if found to be in violation of this title; and
(2)
Order the removal of any exterior architectural feature constructed or reconstructed in violation of this title.
(b)
Demolition by neglect.
(1)
The Building Engineer shall notify the Commission of all instances of demolition by neglect with respect to structures in a county historic district or on the preliminary or final county landmarks list which are brought to the attention of the Building Engineer.
(2)
Each instance of demolition by neglect shall be treated in the same manner as a violation of the County Building Code.
