§ 32-6-101. DEFINITIONS.

(a)

In general. In this title the following words have the meanings indicated.

(b)

Applicant. "Applicant" means a person who has submitted a proposed Development Plan for development approval.

(c)

Development approval. "Development approval" means the approval of a Development Plan by:

(1)

An order of the Hearing Officer under Title 4, Subtitle 2, Part III of this article; or

(2)

The Director of Permits, Approvals and Inspections under § 32-4-106(b) of this article.

(d)

Dwelling. "Dwelling" means a building or a portion of a building that provides living facilities for one or more individuals.

(e)

Filing date. "Filing date" means the date that a proposed Development Plan is accepted but not necessarily posted by the Department of Permits, Approvals and Inspections.

Residential development. "Residential development" means the development of property for the construction of dwellings.
