§ 32-3-506. PERIOD I; REPORT BY THE DIRECTOR OF PLANNING.

  • (a)

    In general. During Period I of each cycle, the Director of Planning shall:

    (1)

    Review the petitions transmitted to the Director; and

    (2)

    Submit a report on the petition to the Planning Board and publish the report.

    (b)

    Contents of report.

    (1)

    The report required under subsection (a) of this section shall contain at least the following information:

    (i)

    Maps showing properties under petition and the reclassifications sought;

    (ii)

    Recommendations on the petitions;

    (iii)

    Supporting data for the recommendations, including any pertinent data and recommendations submitted by other county agencies; and

    (iv)

    Recommendations for scheduling of all hearings to be held during Period IV of the cycle, prepared in consultation with the Board of Appeals.

    (2)

    The maps required under paragraph (1)(i) of this subsection may also identify groups of properties located close to each other and show other indications of the interrelation of petitions with respect to planning considerations.
