§ 32-2-305. RESERVATION PERIOD.

  • (a)

    Limitation on the period of public reservation. The period of the public reservation may not exceed 18 months from the date of:

    (1)

    An application for a building permit; or

    (2)

    Submission of a concept plan.

    (b)

    Effect of reservation. During the reservation period, a person may not erect a building or other structure on the reserved land.

    (c)

    Taxes and assessments during reservation.

    (1)

    During the reservation period, all reserved properties for public use under this subtitle are exempt from county taxes and all other public assessments or charges.

    (2)

    The Director of Budget and Finance shall refund any prepaid taxes for the period of public reservation.
