§ 32-2-204. ACTION ON SPECIFIC PROJECTS; PROJECTS REQUIRING EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
(a)
Referral to Planning Board. If an action on the Master Plan involves a project that will necessitate the expenditure of public funds incidental to the project, the county council shall refer the proposed action to the Planning Board for review and recommendation.
(b)
County Council action. The county may not undertake the proposed action until:
(1)
Receiving the review and recommendation of the Planning Board; or
(2)
If the Planning Board does not make a recommendation, 45 days after the date of the referral to the Planning Board.
(c)
Additional agencies. This section shall also apply to action by a housing, parking, highway or other authority, redevelopment agency, school board, or other similar public agency, federal, state, regional, or county.
