§ 32-2-203. SAME - OPTIONAL.

  • The proposed Master Plan may address:

    (1)

    The use of land and buildings for residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, mining, agricultural, and park purposes and other like matters;

    (2)

    New zoning regulations or maps to accomplish the Master Plan;

    (3)

    Streets, parking, public transit, freight facilities, airports, port facilities, and other transportation matters;

    (4)

    Residential standards, including studies to improve site planning and other housing matters;

    (5)

    Water conservation, forest conservation, soil conservation, flood control, and other conservation matters;

    (6)

    Civic centers, schools, libraries, parks, playgrounds, firehouses, police structures, hospitals, and other public and semipublic facilities;

    (7)

    The distribution and density of population;

    (8)

    Urban renewal, including rehabilitation and redevelopment;

    (9)

    Other elements of county growth and development;

    (10)

    Implementation of the Master Plan through appropriate regulations;

    (11)

    Various stages in the future development of the county; and

    (12)

    Areas outside the boundaries of the county that the planning board considers to bear an essential relation to the planning of the county.
