§ 30-1-204. TRAFFIC AND PARKING.

  • (a)

    Traffic laws. Traffic laws and parking regulations applicable on public roads in the county, including Article 18 of the Code, are applicable on park property.

    (b)

    Use of roads, pathways, and bikeways. The use of roads, pathways, and bikeways within park property is subject to regulations of the Department.

    (c)

    Driver must obey instruction. A driver in a park shall immediately obey instructions, by gesture or otherwise, from a Department employee or police officer to:

    (1)

    Reduce the speed of the driver's vehicle;

    (2)

    Bring the vehicle to a stop;

    (3)

    Alter the direction of the vehicle; or

    (4)

    Remove the vehicle from a restricted area.

    (d)

    Illegally parked or abandoned motor vehicles. An illegally parked or abandoned motor vehicle may be towed from park property and impounded at the owner's expense.
