§ 2-1-103. COMPENSATION.

(a)

Amount of compensation. Beginning on the date in December 2014 that the members of the County Council qualify as provided in § 203 of the Charter, the annual salary of the members of the County Council shall be:

(1)

$70,000 for the Chairman; and

(2)

$62,500 for all other members.

(b)

Other non-salary benefits authorized. In addition to the salary authorized under subsection (a) of this section, each member of the County Council is eligible to receive other non-salary employee benefits established for elected legislative officials.
