§ 25-3-201. DEFINITIONS.
(a)
In general. In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
(b)
Normal business hours.
(1)
"Normal business hours" means those hours during which most similar businesses in the community are open to serve customers.
(2)
"Normal business hours" includes some evening hours at least one night per week or some weekend hours or both.
(c)
Normal operating conditions.
(1)
"Normal operating conditions" means those service conditions that are within the control of a franchisee.
(2)
"Normal operating conditions" includes special promotions, pay-per-view events, rate increases, peak or seasonal demand periods, and maintenance or upgrade of the cable system.
(3)
"Normal operating conditions" does not include those conditions that are not within the control of a franchisee, including natural disasters, civil disturbances, power outages, telephone network outages, and severe or unusual weather conditions.
(d)
Service interruption. "Service interruption" means the loss of picture or sound on one or more cable channels.
