§ 21-7-216. SUSPENSION, REVOCATION OR REFUSAL TO RENEW A LICENSE.

  • The Board may suspend, revoke or refuse to renew any license, after a public hearing on at least 15 days' notice to the licensee by registered mail, for any of the following causes and reasons:

    (1)

    Allowing an unlicensed person or business to obtain a permit or perform electrical work under the authority of a licensee;

    (2)

    Performing or allowing the performance of defective or dangerous work;

    (3)

    Except as otherwise provided in § 21-7-301 of this title, failing to file an application for a permit from the Department before beginning work as required by this title;

    (4)

    Failing to make corrections required by a notice issued by an enforcement officer, as provided in § 21-7-302 of this title; or

    (5)

    Violating any of the provisions of this title or of any regulations adopted in accordance with this title.
