§ 21-7-209. TERM AND RENEWAL OF LICENSE.

  • (a)

    Term of license. Unless a license is renewed for a 2 year term as provided in this section, the license expires the second June 30 after its effective date.

    (b)

    Applications for renewal. Before July 1 of the renewal year, the licensee may renew the license for an additional 2-year term, if the licensee pays the license renewal fee established by the County Administrative Officer.

    (c)

    Late renewal.

    (1)

    Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this subsection, if the licensee fails to renew a license before July 1 of the renewal year, the Board may issue a renewal license only if the licensee pays the fee for an original license plus the renewal fee.

    (2)

    If the license is not renewed within 1 year after its expiration date, the Board may not issue a renewal license and the person may receive a license only by applying for a license as a new licensee.
