§ 21-7-103. SUPERVISION OF ELECTRICAL BUSINESS.

  • The Director may exercise general regulatory control over the conduct of electrical business in the county, including:

    (1)

    The business of installing, erecting, or repairing, or contracting to install, erect, or repair:

    (i)

    Electric wires or conductors, to be used for the transmission of electric current for electric light, heat, or power purposes; or

    (ii)

    Moldings, ducts, raceways, or conduits for the reception or protection of wires or conductors; and

    (2)

    The installation, maintenance, repair, and use of any electrical machinery, apparatus, device, or fixtures.
