§ 21-4-201. DEFINITIONS.

  • (a)

    In general. In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

    (b)

    Coin-operated amusement device.

    (1)

    "Coin-operated amusement device" means a machine, game, or device played or operated by the insertion of a coin or token and maintained for public amusement and operation.

    (2)

    "Coin-operated amusement device" includes pinball machines, console machines, video games, claw machines, digger, rotary merchandiser, a pool table, shuffleboard, a ride, and similar machines, games, and devices.

    (c)

    Director. "Director" includes the Director's designees.

    (d)

    Licensee. "Licensee" means a person who has obtained a coin-operated amusement device license as provided in this subtitle.
