§ 21-17-302. AUTHORIZED DRIVERS; LIMITATION ON CUSTODY.

(a)

Authorized drivers. A taxicab operating under a permit of the Public Service Commission may be driven only by the permit holder or an employee of the permit holder.

(b)

Limitation on custody. A permit holder may not allow the taxicab driver to operate the taxicab for more than 12 hours of any continuous 24-hour period.
