§ 21-15-405. FIXTURES BELOW GRADE.
(a)
Authority to issue permit. The administrative authority may issue a permit when proper application is made for the installation of plumbing fixtures or floor drains in a building or structure where fixtures are located below the curb at the point where the building sewer crosses under the curb at the property line.
(b)
Warning. The applicant and owner are warned that chokages in the main sewer line and house connection laterals frequently occur due to causes over which the authorities have no control, and that may result in the flooding of the area in which these fixtures are located.
(c)
County not responsible. The county, its employees, officers, and agents are not responsible or liable for damages in case of flooding.
