§ 21-15-306. AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY.

  • Before a permit to do plumbing or gasfitting work in the county is issued, a licensee shall execute an agreement with the county providing that the licensee shall:

    (1)

    Comply, in all respects, with every applicable provision of this title and all laws and ordinances of the county and the state;

    (2)

    Indemnify and hold harmless the county, its employees, officers, and agents against and from all costs, expenses, damages, injuries, and loss, to which the county may be subject by reason of any wrongdoing, misconduct, want of care or skill, negligence, or default on the part of the licensee, the licensee's agents, or employees; and

    (3)

    Hold and keep harmless the county its employees, officers, and agents from all claims against and losses to it from any cause whatever in connection with executing or performing the plumbing or gasfitting work for which a permit is sought.
