§ 21-15-217. JOURNEYMAN GASFITTER LICENSE.

(a)

General requirements. The Board shall issue a journeyman gasfitter license to a person who has:

(1)

Served 2 years or more in acquiring a total of 3,750 working hours of experience as an apprentice plumber-gasfitter or an apprentice gasfitter; and

(2)

Been qualified and approved by the Board.

(b)

Restrictions on license. The holder of a journeyman gasfitter license is eligible to work at the gasfitting business for and under the direction of a registered master gasfitter.
