§ 21-15-212. MASTER PLUMBER-GASFITTER LICENSE.
(a)
General requirements. The Board shall issue a master plumber-gasfitter license to a person who has:
(1)
Served 2 years or more as a registered journeyman plumber or as a journeyman plumber-gasfitter;
(2)
Served under a master plumber-gasfitter or master plumber; and
(3)
Been qualified and approved by the Board.
(b)
Restrictions on license. The holder of a master plumber-gasfitter license may:
(1)
Secure permits; and
(2)
Perform work that involves plumbing and gasfitting including on-site sewer, water, gas, storm drainage facilities, potable water supply systems, and disposal systems in the county.
(c)
Employment of others. The holder of a master plumber-gasfitter license may employ, for plumbing work, only individuals licensed to do plumbing work.
