SubTitle 2. REGISTRATION |
§ 21-12-212. DISPLAY OF PLATES AND TABS.
(a)
Where plates are attached. The registration plate shall be attached to the rear of the minibike.
(b)
Legibility. At all times, the registration plate shall be:
(1)
Maintained free from foreign materials and in a condition to be clearly legible; and
(2)
Securely fastened to the minibike for which it is issued:
(i)
In a horizontal position;
(ii)
In a manner that prevents the plate from swinging; and
(iii)
In a place and position to be clearly visible.
(c)
Operation without plate or tab prohibited. A person may not operate a minibike on private property in the county and the owner of the minibike may not allow it to be driven on any private property in the county unless there is attached to the minibike and displayed on it, as required by this title:
(1)
A registration plate issued for the minibike by the Department for the current registration period; and
(2)
Any validation tab issued for the minibike under this title.
