§ 18-2-607. SELLING OR SOLICITING ON ROADWAYS.

  • (a)

    "Roadway" defined. In this section, "roadway" has the meaning stated in Title 11 of the Transportation Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

    (b)

    Prohibited. A person may not stand in a roadway to sell or attempt to sell any goods, wares, or merchandise of any description to, to solicit or accept any donation from, or to distribute printed material of any description to any occupant of any vehicle.

    (c)

    Penalty. A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $100.
