§ 18-2-504. MOVEMENT OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES.
(a)
Authority of the Department. The Department of Public Works may prohibit the operation of a commercial vehicle of more than three-quarter ton manufacturer's capacity on a street or roadway under county jurisdiction in a residential zone.
(b)
Signs. The county shall cause appropriate signs or markers describing the restrictions imposed by the Department under subsection (a) of this section to be placed and maintained in conspicuous places along the affected streets or roadways.
(c)
Prohibition. A person may not operate a commercial vehicle in a residential zone in violation of the order issued by the Department under subsection (a) of this section.
(d)
Evidence. The presence along any street or roadway of signs or markers required under subsection (b) of this section is prima facie evidence of the order issued by the Department.
