§ 18-2-502. REQUIREMENT TO OBEY A SIGN OR SIGNAL.

  • A person shall comply with:

    (1)

    Any instruction or direction on any post, standard, sign, automatic signal, or other traffic-directing device that is erected or painted with lines or marks by authority of the county on any pavement, curb, or roadway for the purposes of regulating traffic or parking vehicles; or

    (2)

    Any instruction or direction of any county police officer, auxiliary police officer, or crossing guard engaged in the control and direction of traffic on any street, road, or highway in the county.
