§ 14-1-105. INJURING OR IMPEDING FIRE OR EMERGENCY APPARATUS.

  • (a)

    Prohibited. A person may not willfully:

    (1)

    Damage, deface, or destroy a piece or part of any fire or other emergency apparatus, its equipment or appurtenances; or

    (2)

    Hinder, obstruct, or impede fire or other emergency apparatus or personnel apparatus from passing along a street or highway in going to or returning from a fire or other emergency incident.

    (b)

    Penalty. A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
