§ 14-1-101. INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES BUREAU.

  • (a)

    Authority to establish. The Fire Chief may:

    (1)

    Establish an Investigative Services Bureau for the county; and

    (2)

    Assign Fire Department personnel to the bureau for full-time or part-time duty.

    (b)

    Authority to enter and inspect. In carrying out the provisions of the Code or any regulations adopted by the county under this title, Fire Department personnel assigned to the Bureau may, at reasonable times, enter on and into, examine, and inspect a public building, store, warehouse, factory, or any other structure or premises, except a private single-family dwelling.
