§ 13-3-101. FLOOD CONTROL ACTIVITIES AUTHORIZED.

The county may:
(1)

Acquire by purchase or condemnation a property adjacent to streams and waterways in the county as may be necessary for the erection of proper flood control structures and installations along and near the banks of streams and waterways; and

(2)

Install, construct, or otherwise acquire and maintain all flood control structures and installations.
