§ 12-3-208. RODEOS AND SIMILAR EVENTS.

(a)

Veterinarian required. A permit may not be issued for a rodeo or similar event and a rodeo or similar event may not be conducted unless a veterinarian approved by the Health Officer is in attendance at all times.

(b)

Costs. The permit applicant shall bear all costs associated with compliance with subsection (a) of this section.

(c)

Electrical prods or shocking devices prohibited. Electrical prods or shocking devices are prohibited at rodeos and similar events except for the purposes of herding or managing livestock.
