§ 10-9-106. MANAGING THE FUND.

The Director of Budget and Finance:

(1)

Is responsible for custody of the Fund including:

(i)

Receipt of annual appropriations by the county;

(ii)

Receipt of contributions by employees; and

(iii)

Investments and disbursements against billing;

(2)

Shall provide for the engagement of a health insurance contractor to provide administrative services and stop loss coverage for the health insurance coverages to be self-funded by the county; and

(3)

Is responsible for processing and approval for payment of all bills submitted by the health insurance contractor.
