§ 10-2-107. UNAUTHORIZED PURCHASES.

(a)

Purchases. Except as provided in this title, a county officer or employee may not order the purchase of any commodities, services, or professional capital improvement services except under the requirements and conditions of this title.

(b)

Purchase order. A purchase order or contract made contrary to the provisions of this title:

(1)

Shall be of no effect and void; and

(2)

Creates no obligation or liability for the county.
